American Express Case Study

We were asked to design and build a mobile acquisition unit for use at indoor and outdoor events.  It needed to be stylish, effective and durable – bespoke in every sense. 

We examined a number of concepts before presenting draft designs. Photo renderings and 3D computer animations were created, updated and discussed before we arrived at a final decision.  We then produced full specification drawings and began component and assemblies design before full construction started.

The final design incorporated five 42" plasma screens, colour changing lights, solid surfaces throughout, automatically opening wing panels and removable graphics for rebranding.

The unit was built from scratch in our own workshops.  It was a demanding and highly technical exercise involving every member of our design and construction teams. 

The finished unit made its maiden appearance at a Rolling Stones concert in 2006 and has been in service ever since.  Best of all, American Express reports increased credit card aquisitions since our trailer hit the road.
