Gold at Chelsea Flower Show
Working with Willerby Landscapes, the main contractor for the Perfume Garden, the design was modelled on our software and then produced into manufacturing drawings ready for construction in the workshop. The development and evolution commenced the year before installation with full scale elements manufactured for design approval.
Using sustainable timbers, a central column was produced with a tangential, rising, 26 metre spiral wall. Around the central column was designed a very unique deck following the shape and lines in spirals and tangents. This involved the design from concept drawings into individual CNC paths for each plank; complete with predrilled fixing points and detailed grooves all following a spiral design around the circular drum. 450 planks later, and a series of curving support frames the design was ready to transport to Chelsea. Jigsaw points made the panels link together quickly to be ready for the show.
The features of the dramatic central feature and planting produced a centrepiece of the show and we are proud to be a part of such an amazing piece of garden design
