Pavomatic (Pavo): Type of exhibition unit that is raised hydraullically from a lorry then lowered when the lorry has driven away, providing a very low entrance threshold. Also known as ground lowering units.
Pod: A slide-out extension which increases the size of a unit.
Annexe: Extension from main unit, larger than a pod, operated by hand or hydraulic control
Gullwing: Fold-out extension to increase the size of a unit.
Wing Panels: Panels which fold out to increase the frontage of a unit. These are often used to display graphics
Header Board / Fascia: A panel, usually over the front of the unit, used to display graphics.
MOM: Hire unit prefix, stands for Masters own mobile.
MOP: Hire unit prefix, stands for Masters own pavomatic
DDA: Disability Discrimination Act. Legislation which requres the provision of access for all to public spaces, buildings and workplaces.
KVA: Kilo Volt Amperes. Generator output measurement unit .
Drawbar trailer: Trailer with a front steering axle and wheels at each corner making the trailer easy to tow.
Tri-axle Trailer: Three axles in the center of a trailer allow smaller wheels to be fitted and lower internal height.
Pop up: Quick set-up display, mobile, compact and easy to use.
